Perfect local restaurant. Delicious food and charming waitress.  All the other customers were locals which says a lot.  Highly recommended.  We&#39;d have eaten there again if they hadn&#39;t been fully booked!

The scallops were incredible, both the texture/consistency (perfectly cooked) and the accompanying sauce (I would have loved a jar of it). The rest of our dishes were excellent

When I read in an article that This is Where chefs come to eat, I knewI had to go. I have had little restaurants in London, and Minneapolis.  Worked with an Italian chef in San Francisco.  Was delighted to see all women staff!!!  The daily specials were delightful

Absolutely loved this place! We were treated as visitors and friends, not tourists, with much warmth and great good humour. The food was genuine: really good, great portions, lots of variety, sensible pricing. I would move to Bologna for this.

I have booked a table for 14 people, my family and closest friends, for the night of my graduation. All I wanted was a great ambience and excellent food to celebrate this huge day. And I have got nothing less, the food was amazing and they could serve it all at the same time and the personal care how they handled all our small request were amazing. I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant for any type of occasion. 10/10

Small trattoria under one of the famous portici of bologna - the ambiance is simple and the service was efficient.  The food was simple and well prepared - in addition to antipasti we had lasagna and a chicken dish - the portions were larger than expected.  I would return and do not hesitate to recommend.

Of you find yourself in Bologna, be sure to find Da Giampi e Ciccio. This is a small, a bit off the tourist place, local place with a very simple menu of extremely wonderful food. You simply won&rsquo;t go wrong with anything in their menu!

This is one of the best in Bologna. True, home cooked food with a nice, local feel.  A must!!!

Super service, very friendly. The chef didn&rsquo;t mind to do some adjustments to the dishes and we could taste the wine before taking a glass of it. Lovely atmosphere and super quick service! And the view is stunning.
